Presentation and objectives

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia and the Generalitat Valenciana present the Third International Conference on Clusters and Industrial Districts “CLUSTERING“ that will be held in Valencia (Spain) on 23rd and 24th of May 2019.

The event includes a variety of activities around local contexts and globalization, the phenomenon of geographical agglomerations of companies and individuals, and organizational models such as industrial districts and clusters.

This year we present a two-day international event that includes different activities: Pre-conference activities, Roundtables, Conferences, Doctoral Workshop and Parallel Sessions. Last year for instance we had delegates from many different countries (Italy, France, Portugal, UK, Netherlands, Romania, Greek, China, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, USA, Canada, etc.).

Objective

The meeting aims to provide an enriching academic forum that welcomes discussion about the current and emerging topics about Clusters & Industrial Districts

Multidisciplinary approach

The event is held from a multidisciplinary approach (Management, Economics, Regional Science, Geography, History, Sociology, Internationalization, Marketing).

Languages

The official languages of the meeting will be Spanish and English. Thus, the papers could be written and presented in any of those languages.
